Day 10: Claude Projects, finally useful.
If you keep re-explaining the same project every time you open a new chat, Claude Projects can fix one very specific problem: setup.
Anthropic describes Projects as a place to keep chats, project knowledge, and project instructions together. That matters because the answer usually is not the slow part. The setup is.
Every recurring workflow has the same drag:
- you paste the background again
- you restate the goal again
- you remind the model what good looks like again
Projects cut that loop down.
They make the most sense for work you revisit often:
- client proposals
- content series
- launch plans
- weekly reports
The best starting move is simple. Create one Project for one recurring workflow. Add the reference material it actually needs. Then give it one instruction like:
When I paste new material, look for gaps, contradictions, and missing decisions first.
That is enough to make the next chat better.
Projects are not magic. They just stop useful context from resetting every time.
