Day 18: Show AI one good example before you ask for the real draft.
Most bad AI output starts with the same problem: the model is guessing what "good" means.
The fastest fix is not a longer lecture. It is one strong example.
If you want a draft, summary, caption, or spreadsheet formula in a certain style, show one version you already like.
Then ask:
"Use this example as the pattern. Keep the structure, level of detail, and tone. Now do the same for this new input."
That works because examples reduce ambiguity.
They show the model:
- how long to be
- how structured to be
- what tone fits
- what a good final answer actually looks like
You do not need ten examples. Usually one clear example is enough to move the output from vague to usable.
Stop hoping the model reads your mind. Show it what good looks like.
