Day 71: Use AI to create a simple plan for a monthly budget.

Share

A budget is less scary when AI turns the numbers into categories and next moves. Start by sharing rough monthly income, fixed bills, common variable spending categories, and one goal, using ranges instead of exact account details if that feels safer. Try: “Ask me 3 questions first, then create a simple monthly budget with fixed costs, flexible costs, savings, and one weekly check-in.”

Ask AI to make the budget usable, not perfect. Have it identify one category to watch, one bill to review, and one small automatic transfer you could consider. Then request a weekly five-minute script: what to check, what to update, and what decision to make before the next week. You can also ask for a cash-flow calendar that shows when bills hit versus when income arrives. If the first draft feels tight, ask AI for a lower-pressure version that protects essentials before wants. This is planning support, not financial advice; keep the final decisions with you. For a concrete first step, ask AI to choose three numbers to review every Friday: groceries, subscriptions, and leftover money.
